This is the latest filter to be manufactured by Cuno for Samsung. It has a special key at the top of the filter which prevents 'copy compatible' or cheap budget filters from being used in newer fridge freezer models.

G) replaces older filter versions such as the DA29-00003
B. It is now very important that you ensure that you order the correct filter. The 'DA29-00003
G' intenal filter is compatible for all Samsung 'side-by-side' fridges. However if your fridge was made after August 2009 you must order the 'G' version to ensure compatibility, using the new 'key' feature at the top of the filter.
